September’s Do It for a Cause Spotlight shines on Recycling Grace Women’s Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, a faith-based organization dedicated to helping women break the cycle of addiction and find lasting freedom through Christ-centered recovery.
Led by Sandra Mick-Shockey, Recycling Grace provides a safe, nurturing space where women can rebuild their lives, reconnect with their families, and rediscover purpose.
“It’s not just about recovery — it’s about renewal. The women who come through Recycling Grace find not only healing but hope.”
A Mission of Faith and Transformation
The Recycling Grace Women’s Center offers a six-month recovery program that blends faith, structure, and compassion to help women overcome addiction and step into new life.
During a recent visit, our agents toured the Kinzer Street homes, meeting the incredible women and staff who make this mission possible. Each home can accommodate up to 30 women, providing not only shelter but a sense of family and belonging.
We were inspired by their plans for a new maternity center — another step toward ensuring that every woman, no matter her past, has the chance to build a brighter future.
A Gift of Support and Gratitude
In August 2026, Borrowed Time Real Estate proudly donated $1,500 to the Christway Ministries Women’s Recovery Program, continuing our ongoing commitment to helping others and strengthening the communities we serve.
“When we improve the quality of one woman’s life, we lift up and improve the lives of every person around her. Our community profits greatly from organizations like this. It’s an honor and a privilege to support the ladies and the mission of Christway Women’s Recovery Program.”
— Gina Ginocchio, Broker/Owner, Borrowed Time Real Estate
We’re deeply inspired by the staff, volunteers, and residents who pour their hearts into creating a nurturing environment for transformation and healing.
